1. Data Collection and Use

We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide our productivity features. This includes:

  • License Information: We store your email and license key locally to verify the validity of your subscription and ensure correct functionality.
  • Task Synchronization Data: If you integrate with Notion, we only store the minimal data required to synchronize your to-do list (e.g., due dates or task titles). This data is neither shared nor sold and is used solely for providing you with updated tasks.
  • Productivity Analysis: When you enable the focus mode, the Extension captures screenshots of the active browser tab to analyze productivity relevance.No additional browsing history is collected beyond what is strictly needed for this feature.

2. Screenshot Processing

The Extension may capture a screenshot of the current webpage to detect distractions and improve your focus. We understand the sensitivity of visual data, and we strictly adhere to the following principles:

  • Use of OpenAI API: We send your screenshots (in base64 format) to our secure server, which then calls the OpenAI API for content analysis. This helps us identify whether a page is relevant to your current tasks or potentially distracting.
  • No Long-Term Storage of Screenshots: Screenshots are processed ephemerally; we do not save or archive them in our databases. Once the analysis is complete, the screenshot is discarded.
  • Privacy-First Implementation: We implement checks to avoid capturing password fields or highly sensitive forms. If the Extension detects password or email fields, the screenshot process is aborted to protect confidential information.

3. Security Measures

We employ various safeguards to keep your data secure:

  • Secure Communication: All communication with our servers, including license validation or screenshot analysis, is done over HTTPS to protect data in transit.
  • Local Storage of Credentials: Your license key and minimal user details are kept in the Extension’s local storage to maintain session status. You can remove these by uninstalling the Extension or clearing the Extension data.
  • Limited Server Access: Only essential metadata (e.g., license status, minimal usage stats) is stored server-side. We never keep entire screenshots, nor do we store personal data beyond what is necessary.
  • OpenAI Integration: The data sent to OpenAI is strictly the screenshot relevant to a productivity query. We use official APIs and respect OpenAI’s data handling policies to ensure confidentiality.

4. No Data Sharing or Selling

We do not sell or trade any user data for commercial or marketing purposes. We only share data with the OpenAI API to facilitate on-the-fly analysis of your current tab. No third parties receive your usage logs, license details, or screenshots outside of this specific productivity analysis flow.

5. License Validation

Our server validates your license key to confirm your subscription status. We only store the status (active, inactive) and associated email. No additional personal details are permanently collected without your explicit consent.

6. Managing or Removing Your Data

You can remove the Extension at any time to clear out any local data (such as your license key or tasks). If you have questions regarding your data on our server (e.g., license key removal), please contact us at the email below.

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect product changes or legal requirements. We will notify you within the Extension or via our website whenever there is a significant update. Please review the policy periodically for the most current information.
